Today, we are taking another steps towards next levels. It is our pleasure to announce that PA-HYUGA's LED products are officially entering the marine equipment industry.
Lighting for vehicles such as automobiles, motorcycles, ships, and aircraft does not typically vary significantly in terms of product quality. Over the years, we have been delivering our products to international customers in the field of marine interior lighting, building trust and credibility. Now, leveraging this long-standing trust and with the cooperation of our valued customer, we have successfully developed, designed, and manufactured LED H4 exterior lighting for ships, a process that took approximately one year. Due to confidentiality reasons, we cannot reveal our products at this time.
However, we are proud to announce that this product signifies a new level of achievement in our product development, and we look forward to providing even higher quality products in the future, including other automotive products from our company.
Below, we have outlined the differences between marine and automotive lighting.
1:Waterproof Performance
Marine lighting must have a higher level of waterproofing and dust resistance due to the moist and harsh conditions, including exposure to splashes from heavy winds and waves at sea.
2:Corrosion Resistance
Because metal components are susceptible to rust in the presence of seawater and high humidity, marine lighting requires excellent corrosion resistance, often incorporating corrosion resistant materials and coatings.
3:Safety
To prevent hazardous situations such as fires or explosions, marine lighting must adhere to stricter safety standards, including explosion proof designs and the use of explosion proof materials.
4:Power Stability
Since the power supply on ships can be unstable, marine lighting is equipped with better power stability and electromagnetic compatibility to handle power fluctuations and noise.
5:Sealing
While automotive lighting also requires some degree of waterproofing, it doesn’t need to match the performance of marine lighting. This is because vehicles may encounter rain and mud on the road, leading to moderate sealing requirements.
6:Position and Function
Marine lighting fixtures need to be installed in various locations on the vessel, such as the deck, inboard, bow, and stern, requiring different mounting and angle-adjustment features. Conversely, automotive lighting is typically installed at the front, rear, and sides of vehicles. Marine lighting needs to cover larger spaces, such as decks, inboard, and engine rooms, resulting in larger sizes and broader beam angles.
These differences in waterproofing, corrosion resistance, safety, power stability, sealing, and installation features cater to specialized needs in various environments and applications for marine and automotive lighting.
We will continue to strive to provide our customers with high-quality products, so please continue to support PA-HYUGA in the future. Thank you so much!
